Hormone Replacement Therapy for Women
OS Wellness offers bio-identical hormone pellet therapy — a steady, predictable way to ease perimenopause and menopause symptoms, delivered as part of your existing care at Pain and Rehabilitation Consultants.
A rehabilitation-first approach to hormone health
Estrogen affects far more than the menstrual cycle — it plays a role in bone density, skin health, brain function, mood, and cardiovascular health. As estrogen naturally declines during perimenopause and menopause, many women experience symptoms that disrupt daily life.
OS Wellness is a certified provider of Pellecome®, a bio-identical hormone pellet system that supports predictable, steady hormone delivery. As part of PRC’s whole-person approach to care, hormone therapy is offered alongside your existing pain management and rehabilitation plan.

When to consider BHRT
Many women first consider hormone therapy during perimenopause or menopause, when symptoms of declining estrogen and progesterone become noticeable. BHRT may also be appropriate for women who experience early menopause, have had a hysterectomy or oophorectomy, or continue to struggle with symptoms despite lifestyle changes.
OS Wellness evaluates each patient’s symptoms, hormone testing, and health history to determine whether BHRT is the right fit — always using the lowest effective dose for the shortest necessary duration.
How hormone imbalance is diagnosed
Hormone levels are typically evaluated through a simple blood (serum) test. Saliva testing is not currently recommended by the FDA or the North American Menopause Society due to reliability concerns.
Restore. Regenerate. Renew.
Pellecome pellet therapy delivers bio-identical hormones through a small pellet placed just beneath the skin in a quick, in-office procedure. The pellet releases a steady, consistent dose over roughly 3–6 months — supporting more predictable symptom relief than daily pills, patches, or creams.
Dr. McCoomer uses Pellecome’s patented insertion system, designed to improve comfort and placement accuracy.
